2021 : Year In Review

With 2021 drawing to an end, we thought it would be a great time to reflect on our year at Qlic. This year marks the 19th year of Qlic IT NFP (formerly Premier Charity Solutions) and it has been one of the most exciting years for us to date! Not only have we had some amazing new additions to our team, but we have also successfully rebranded the whole business and have had the opportunity to work with lots of incredible businesses and charities.

Our IT Support Users in 2021

As you know already, we specialise in IT Support for businesses and non-profits all over the UK. We have always been dedicated to providing the highest quality of customer service efficiently and delivering technical expertise in a clear, approachable and easy to understand manner.

This year we have reached an outstanding milestone of 3,500 IT support users! With only supporting our first 100 users back in 2007, the amount of support users we have open at the end of this year is an incredible achievement. A massive well done to our Support Engineers for always providing our clients with the best possible service and solutions!

New Look, Same Experience

Rebranding our business from Premier Charity Solutions to Qlic IT NFP was a completely nerve-racking and daunting thought. However, once we started to endeavour on the rebranding journey, we knew it was the best decision we could’ve made!

The experience for our customers didn’t alter. But, the way we delivered our experience was wrapped in a spectacular new uniform that seamlessly symbolises our values and personality. 

It has been just under 6 months since the rebranding, and we have heard so much positive feedback from you all. Team Qlic!

The Qlic Team

As if our team wasn’t already amazing enough! This year we have had the opportunity to hire some amazing new additions to our team.

Welcome our new employees…

We have our new Customer Success Manager Laura who has joined our Sales Team. Our three new Support Desk Engineers, Eddie, Connor and Daniel. And, don’t forget our two new additions to our Projects Team, Sam and James. Everyone has fit in really well with our team, have hit the ground running and have been the perfect addition!

Small Charity IT Day 2021

We had the opportunity to host our online charity event, Small Charity IT Day, for the second year in 2021! Our team decided to put a spin on it this year and invited some lovely guest speakers from Sophos and Charity Digital. So, not only was our IT experts sharing lots of tips and tools with the charities that signed up, but Sophos and Charity Digital also added their expertise!

Small Charity IT Day in 2021 was an amazing turnout and we can’t wait to host it again next year, so stay tuned!

Flexible Working

Now, this is something we’re all familiar with. This year was the first year that we all had to adapt our working environments to suit our safety. This meant that working in the office was no longer the norm. Remote working was introduced to several organisations, which meant home set-ups and devices needed optimising!

At Qlic, we implemented a flexible working policy that suited everyone in our team. We also decided to alternate the office rotas so that those who aren’t in the same department got to know each other better!

And, Last But Not Least

Not only did we reach 3,500 IT Support users in 2021, but we also onboarded several new organisations. This year we have had the opportunity to work with some amazing new clients. Some primarily IT Support, some Microsoft 365 migrations and some office and home set-ups. Every opportunity we had this year with new clients, our team took in their stride and ensured they received the best service!

We’re not forgetting all of our existing clients! We have been able to continue supporting lots of our existing clients this year which we can’t appreciate enough!

So, a Summary of 2021…

What a year it has been! I’m sure that most of us didn’t have much hope for 2021 due to the unhappy and unprecedented beginning. However, positive changes started to happen which meant that our work and social life could all make a return! Qlic has nailed some amazing milestones in 2021 and it will definitely be a year to remember.
