About Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services are Kent’s biggest independent charity dedicated to providing support to people affected by dementia. Working within the Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley area since 1991 they have a local reputation for providing excellence in dementia support and care which is testament to the hard work and dedication of their Board of Trustees, management, staff and volunteers.
They are the local specialist dementia service and empower people affected by dementia to carry on their chosen lifestyle. They equip people with the knowledge and practical support to live with dementia. People affected by dementia are at the heart of everything they do and are encouraged to be involved with their services, at all levels, enabling them to offer unique and bespoke support.

Alzheimer’s Dementia Support Services have recently been awarded new contracts by the Kent County Council and the NHS Kent and Medway Clinical Commissioning group. This means that they will now be providing support in new areas and stretching their services to more communities in order to help more people who are affected by dementia.
