About Dramatize

Dramatize was formed in 2011, when the directors Karen and Jo recognised the need for more choice and a variety of provisions for adults with learning disabilities once they leave education. Since then, Dramatize has grown from strength to strength and offers a wide range of activities and workshops that centres around providing purposeful opportunities and adventures for our students.

Dramatize run a full-time day provision, employment programme and have 2 of its very own Tea Rooms. Their Tea Rooms provide and enable adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to gain work experience and training required to progress to paid employment; enabling everyone to take a full and active role in our community. Dramatize prides itself on its person centred approach and the wide range of meaningful opportunities it provides for their students.

Dramatize's Challenges

Dramatize is desperately seeking funds to enable them to expand their premises to enable more students to access their provisions. They currently have a waiting list of students and families in desperate need of support but unfortunately, they are at full capacity.

Dramatize relies on funding for the development of their charity. Your support and generosity are essential to their growth to provide adults with learning disabilities the best opportunities. Here you can find their online donation platform.

Dramatize's Achievements / Goals

Dramatize has just gained their second Tea Room that a group from Qlic helped decorate enabling us to provide more paid and volunteer opportunities for adults with learning disabilities. In addition to this, they have secured another property to expand their day provisions but are seeking funds to be able to renovate it and make it fully accessible to all of their students with mobility needs.
